Careerzone represents state of the art in job search technology and is an intuitive "Google-like" vertical search engine that brings you simply and effectively all of the jobs available from NZ's leading recruiters which ensures that you are dealing with the real professionals in career placement with all the resources and skills to assist you make the right career move.
Just start typing your dream job title and our intuitive keyword search will do the rest. We can't promise that you will get that dream job, bigger pay cheque and that corner office but we will ensure that you have the best chance possible of finding and being considered for it whilst being treated professionally in the process.
For active or passive jobseekers Careerzone is free and we only accept position placements from bona-fide recruitment and search companies which provide you a professional and discrete service portal for all your career requirements.
For recruiters
Currently the professional recruitment industry typically utilises a corporate site plus a wider jobsboard typically media owned such as Seek, TradeMe or Search4jobs.As these boards have evolved they have started to develop online databases that are populated by asking candidates as they apply for jobs whether they would like their details put into the database to be searched by prospective employers. These databases require employers to go back through the jobsboard for further information and candidate access. In short the jobsboards that the recruitment industry supports to the tune of millions of dollars are beginning to compete against the recruitment industry that supports them.
CAREERZONE.CO.NZ is an industry led response to this issue and will only accept placements from bona fide recruitment agencies and consultants. Its objective is to utilise the latest web and search information technology to provide a unique industry portal that presents a viable alternative to the media based boards and advances the role and position of professional recruiters in the NZ employment market.
Using our unique "TrafficBuild" vertical search technology we will automatically reference all of the jobs from your corporate site so that they can be searched by jobseekers through the CAREERZONE.CO.NZ portal. There is no effort on your part required to re-draft or upload jobs and the jobs remain fully hosted on your corporate site. When jobseekers view search results they will typically see the Job title and first two-four lines of your description. If they click on the job it immediately links them through to your corporate site and as such drives traffic to your site rather than "cannibalising" it as traditional jobsboards do. Additionally in the near future we will offer a portfolio of value add services that offer a far more brand intensive experience for users compared to the generic hosting offered by media jobsboards such as Seek.
In the unlikely event our "TrafficBuild" technology is not compatible with your site then we will ask you to implement and XML feed from your site to CZ with code we provide.
